While I was ready to dismissing comments by non-Christian mere gossip or jealous talks, I was rather disturbed by some of the unkind words used by presumably brothers and sisters in Christ.
As children of God, we are indwell by the Holy Spirit that teaches us to see as God sees. Let's not judge a person by what he/she does but who he/she is, and in this case I see the pastor's wife as how God sees her - as JESUS! Hallelujah!
I thank God for a precious sister such as this pastor's wife and also thank God for the Holy Spirit in her that has judged her righteous!
"And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
"of sin, because they do not believe in Me;
"of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;
"of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. |
I also read from the same report that she's afraid of coming home, fearing people's reaction towards her. I thank God for Christ, who is Love personified and this perfect love casts out fear (1 Jo 4:18).
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. |
May this same perfect love helps this precious sister overcomes this fear AMEN.
