Mighty To Save...Ex 16:16

Today is the first day of this blog.

Started the day with a great song by Hillsong - Mighty To Save, and my spirit was greatly lifted with awe of our Mighty Saviour, our Lord Christ Jesus. Rejoice beyond description and just can't stop the worship with trebling knees!

Everyone needs compassion
A love that's never failing
Let mercy fall on me
Everyone needs forgiveness
A kindness of a Savior
The hope of nations

My Savior
He can move the mountains
My God is Mighty to save
He is Mighty to save
Forever
Author of salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave

So take me as You find me
All my fears and failures
Fill my life again
I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in
Now I surrender

Shine your light and let the whole world see
We're singing for the glory of the risen King...Jesus

Meditated on Ex 16:16, which Moses talked about the divine provision of God - Manna. Despite the murmuring, complaint-some and unfaithful attitude of Israelites, God by grace provides the heavenly manna faithfully for 40 years!

"This is what the LORD has commanded, 'Gather of it every man as much as he should eat; you shall take an omer apiece according to the number of persons each of you has in his tent.' " - Ex 16:16 (NASB)

Manna is a type and symbol of the Word of Christ that nourishes our souls every day and we can trust Jesus to nourish us sufficiently, not based on how many sentences or chapters of bible we should read but based on the amount of Grace we individually need each day! Pure GRACE, period!

It also says that each should take according to the number of persons in his tent. Hallelujah! Oh I can't help but be amazed by the divine way that God has commanded His blessing - through the head of each household, i.e. when the head of the household is blessed, the household is blessed!
