Kings and Priests...Rev 5:10

Rev 5:10
And have made us kings and priests to our God;
And we shall reign on the earth."

Even today, most Christians still focus on the death of Christ on the cross. While it is well and good for us to remember Jesus' sacrifice for us, this is only half of the good news. The other half, which contain the finale, is the resurrection and ascension of Christ to heaven, to be our King (Rev 15:3) and High Priest (Hbr 4:14)!

Furthermore, by His ascension, we are made kings and priests (Rev 5:10), and these are our inheritance whether you chose them or not! While the first half of the salvation story cleanses us white as snow and setting us like a great blank sheet, the second half crowns us with His Glory and Power, manifesting the power and glory of His Righteousness.

As kings ordained by God through Christ, we are vested with power and wisdom to have dominion over all creation (Gen 1:28), even over principalities (Psa 8:5-6). Satan and his imps are no match for the kings of God!

As priests ordained by God through our Great High Priest, words from our mouths are pregnant with the life of the Spirit in us, and they can bring life to ourselves and people whom we minister to (Jhn 7:38)!

Brethren, let's not frustrate the love of God showered upon us through Christ by only clinging onto half of the gospel but the whole of it! Our loving Father and heavenly Brother are pleased and want us to fully use all of what Jesus has done and given to us.

Brethren, by His Grace, let's rest assuredly on His Righteousness in us, and rise up as kings an priests, and through us shine forth the Light of His Kingship and High Priesthood to the world that is growing dim, AMEN.
