Love...Gen 22:2

This morning, I was awaken up by the giggling of my 2-years old daughter, Rebecca. My 6-years old son, Ryan, was also awoke and smiling beside his sister. My heart overflowed with gladness when I saw these lovely and innocent faces, and cried out in praise for the Lord's love for me.

Oh, Heavenly Father, thank you for sending Your only Son, Jesus Christ, to this world as your love for us personified, so that we can live in Your perfect love and righteousness, AMEN.

Gen 22:2
Then He said, "Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

The word 'love' here in Hebrew is אהב ('ahab) which consist of three Hebrew letter, from right
left, means ox (א, aleph), which is a typology of Jesus. The second letter ה (hey) means the breath or grace of God. The last letter , means house or temple.

When put together, this word means we are the beloved temple of Christ, by the grace of God, to be the physical manifestation of God's love for this lost and dying world, Hallelujah! Put it simply, you are the love of God, all 80 kg of you, walking on earth, AMEN.

My friend, our purpose of life in this world is to be a witness of Jesus, by been a living testimony of His love, by loving others. However, in order to do so, many rely on our love for others, which is limited, too little and inevitably conditional. Instead, we should draw from His love for us, the unlimited, inexhaustible and unconditional love of Christ. Only after we are fully filled with His unconditional love, then will we be to share the overflow with others.
